12K around the Park.
MONDAY 26/6/06, 2PM, 12K, 6 HOURS SLEEP, SHOES: ASICS 1100
SW had an hour run for me today. My achilles was still creaking like an old door hinge (Martin Horne will have a crack at it on Wednesday) so I elected to avoid hills and hard surfaces by running down to Leura Park (2K run), circled the oval for 40 minutes, and ran back the way I came in 62 minutes.
Quads surprisingly good after the beating they took yesterday. Started to feel a bit tired near the end, but running 22 odd laps of an oval isn't as boring as I expected...
About 10 degrees, sunny, wore a t shirt and new Nike shorts.
